WILLIAMEDIA

This is the story of the beginning of WilliaMedia but before there was WilliaMedia there was William Addington. A Texas son and proud of it, I have lived in Texas all my life but I am not afraid to leave its expansive borders to pursue my passion in media. Remember though Texas is the second largest state in the US so theres a lot to amount to when making comparisons. Now thats established I am one to grow everyday in many directions and love to learn. Media is my passion and I started out my education at El Centro Community College for culinary pursuits before moving back towards media development. While an education in the culinary industry may seem rather non complementary I learned a lot from working at a local 4.5 star institution of food excellence The Green Room, hard work and late nights were included in that responsibility. It was before leaving High School though that I was torn between my many interests for furthering my education including the subjects of Architecture, Urban Planning, Photography, Performing Arts, Culinary/Pastry Arts, Interior Design,Web Design, Graphic Design, and Media Production, not in any particular order ether. I was left with trying to sift through what I really wanted to do day in and out. As I said before I decided on a culinary degree and landed a job in local Dallas restaurant in Downtown Dallas Deep Ellum district. This job taught me many lessons among them hard work but even while working there I kept close ties to my tech roots through Podcasts like Leo Laporte’s TWIT podcast. It is there that I kept my eyes on the world that would envelope my interests and eventually lead me away from the culinary world and into the digital world evolving around me. Today I continue to build my skills in several areas and I am near the end of a degree plan for a Associates in Applied Sciences in Interactive Multimedia Development from El Centro Community College located in the growing and revitalizing Downtown Dallas. It is there I have spent many a time contemplating this thing I have started and wonder where it will all go.
